Just Beachy
{Linked up to Trash to Treasure Tuesdays at Reinvented.}
I painted a shutter from a garage sale in my pre-blogging days. Hence, no true before photo.
It was just wood.
Next, it was glorious, in it’s sage and black shabbiness. It was ideal for the top of my kitchen cabs as a backdrop for other decor. (when my kitchen was sage green)

Now it has a breath of fresh life as a beach-weather inspired towel rack for the kids in the bathroom.
Remember the color teal? Teal ruled about 15 plus years ago. I am bringing it back.

I promise to get a nice photo of all the bathroom updates when everything is installed.
Have a beachy kind of day!

You are absolutely AMAZING!!!
I TOTALLY had a teal (and fuschia…go 90′s!) bathroom about 15 years ago
Thanks for “bringing it back”!
I remember when you, Sue, and I painted those at my house! I wonder where mine went? Nice job, can’t wait to see more pics of the bathroom changes as they come about.
Oh my, that is fABULOUS. I love it. You should link this project up to my Trash to Treasure Tuesday this week!
I adore the shutter! Using it as a towel rack is oh so cute!
That’s so clever. It would work great by my back door for all of the things my husband flings on the dining room chairs when he gets home from work.
Love it! I am feeling teal lately too. I just bought a teal chair at IKEA. I think it’s just a cheery color for our uncertain times.
