I’m a visual learner. I’m a visual brain stormer.
When it came time to put together some ideas about my blog redesign, I whipped up a collage to help me brain storm. I created the image below at a cool site called Polyvore.
(Polyvore is a website that uses collective images to create fashion, interior design and art collages.)

Blog Inspiration by Jess @ Just a Blink
It’ll be interesting to see if any of these images or ideas make it into the blog design. Depends on what the real designer says. Plus, I haven’t even gotten a designer yet…better get on that if I what to get Just a Blink cleaned up for my 2 year Blogaversary (coming up in May!).
Love,
Jess

Here are a few links I found of some cool hearty-arty, lovey-dovey Valentine’s Day stuff.
1. The Nester shares about simple ready-found decorating for this love filled holiday.

2. Marie from Make and Takes show us how to make a quick and inexpensive winter hat for the kiddos that will warm your hearts.

3. Katy from Sycamore Stirrings gives a charming tutorial on how to make a heart garland with photos of your loved-ones.

4. Delightful Home found a free-download to print of a pink heart basket.

Enjoy!

Patience is a Virtue
The front loader windowed washing machine has been great. It substitutes for a fireplace during evening meals. Really, it is transfixing to watch the sudsy beast rotate around. Without a laundry room door we are often pulled into its gaze.
Below is a photo of Molly lulled by the swooshing of the watery wash cycle…
until she realizes that Pink (her chosen one) is in there.

Poor dear. Patience is not a virtue that you possess. Not yet anyway.
Of course Molly reigned victorious as she cuddled in her crib with her fresh Pink and other assorted loveys. Notice her slightly mistrusting eyes as if to say, “Take one step toward Pink and I’ll call Dad on you!”
