About Just a Blink

Our family may not be perfect, but we’re perfectly us. Because life goes so fast - in the end it's Just a Blink -  we aim to capture the beauty and chaos of our everyday life. 

I’m Jess. My husband Peter is my rock. Together, we’ve raised a son and three daughters: Ryan, 20, busy with his college and work life; Molly, 17, our senior girl who’s just about ready to take on the world; Claire and Leah, 15, identical twins who are in their last stages of homeschooling.

As a family, we love Jesus, and our faith is the foundation of everything we do. Our faith helps us navigate the challenges of life. Our blog and YouTube channel are filled with real moments where we grow in our faith and in our roles as a family. Someday, our whole life will be as "just a blink" before the Lord. Jesus has shown His Kingdom is real. - Let's make the most of days we have here.

We live in beautiful Minnesota, where the seasons change as quickly as our moods! We make the most of all four seasons with cozy moments indoors and outdoor activities.
